Brought the KLR into Main Motorsports yesterday to get the new tires put on and get it ready for the trip. I was hoping to get the odometer to 10000km but didn't have time.
I felt kind of bad because I was also hoping to give the bike a bit of a wash before bringing it in, but I've got stuff going on all next week and won't have a chance to get the bike in any evening.
Regardless, the bike is in. I gave them a little list of things that I was wondering about and it's all now in their capable hands. I think they did an excellent job last time and that was the first time I'd had any work done there. We'll see what happens this time!
I expect to not have the KLR for about a week, which is okay because I wouldn't have been able to really use it this week anyway. Still, I'll miss it.

Distance since last fill: 346.5km (note - I added 3.5L of gas to the tank before going to Main because I didn't want to take the chance of running out on the Perimeter, heh)
