Day 3: Canmore!

Heard from Hal a little while ago and today was much better riding than yesterday.  Smooth and beautiful!
He had a great stay at the B & B in Oyen - thanks to those wornderful people at Prairie Bells for being a welcoming place after such a rough day.

The wind finally calmed down (after apparently being 70 km gusting to 95 at one point) and he made good time to Kananaskis Country where he's camping at Sundance Lodges tonight.

Hal has never travelled through the mountains before (as far as I know) and he was amazed by the sights today.  He mentioned taking a rest in Drumheller earlier and is now enjoying the sights at the campground, and finally getting to use his camping gear.

Safe riding Hal, and make sure to stop and look at the mountains, and the trees, and the animals, and...all the other neat sights out there.
