Home and Recovering Well

Here's the short version for those of you playing along at home...
(I'll leave most of the story for Hal to tell, but I figured everyone might be wondering what happened to Hal.  And I didn't want anyone to be worrying)

Hal arrived back home a week after his accident.  What a relief!
The KLR stayed in Williams Lake with the great family who helped him out after his accident - Hal or Crash will head out there to pick it up later this summer.  Hal flew to another part of BC to visit family and enjoy a bit more of a vacation before heading back home.
Since coming home, we've discovered many more bruises, lumps and bumps.  Poor Hal!  But he's doing great!  The ankle is healing well and he doesn't even have many of those scars that make for good stories.
Since looking over Hal and his gear (and the poor KLR), we're feeling really lucky that Hal came out of his crash in such good shape.

The moral of the story here: Kids, wear your proper helmets, gloves, jackets, boots, motorcycle pants EVERY TIME you ride.
